Carrying out development appraisals:

We will assess what uses a site or building could be put to, what the key planning constraints are, and whether there is likely to be a requirement for financial contributions through S106 agreements or the Community Infrastructure Levy. We will assess how a scheme is likely to be viewed by the Council having regard to the development plan and other material considerations. We will advise you on appropriate strategy, and what your prospects are.

We can prepare a quick overview of planning policy, constraints and opportunities, or a more detailed appraisal, depending on your needs and timescales. 

Preparing and submitting planning applications

Applications often need to be supported by a range of documents, as well as plans and drawings. We will scope the proposal so that it is supported by the necessary information, and will liaise closely with other consultants to ensure that the application is comprehensive and well-argued. We will monitor the progress of your application and carry out negotiations with Planning Officers, keeping you involved and fully informed along the way. We can also present your case at Planning Committee.

Submitting appeals

Should an application be refused, we can advise you as to how those reasons could be overcome. Alternatively, having discussed the options with you, if it is the most appropriate strategy, we can prepare and submit an appeal with a detailed statement of case to the Planning Inspectorate.
