About Couper Planning Services

Chris Couper (BA Hons, DipTP, MRTPI) is a Chartered Town Planner with over 20 years’ experience working for various planning bodies including consultancies and local authorities.

Couper Planning Services is based in Worcester and provides town and country planning advice throughout Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and beyond. This includes:

  • giving a clear, professional opinion on the prospects of gaining planning permission for house extensions, new dwelling(s), Houses in Multiple Occupation, changes of use, commercial, agricultural and other forms of development;

  • preparation and submission of planning, listed building, advertisement consent, and prior approval applications;

  • preparing and submitting planning appeals where permission has been refused;

  • providing guidance on planning law and policy; and

  • providing advice where you have concerns regarding a planning application that has been made, along with making a representation on your behalf.
