Case Study No. 5: Detailed development appraisal of site in Worcester

An appraisal of the issues and planning prospects for a site in central Worcester.

We were approached to advise on the development potential for student accommodation, retail or commercial development of a site in central Worcester.  We carried out a detailed review of the site’s planning history and relevant constraints, including conservation areas, listed buildings and archaeological designations. 

We then provided a clear report setting out the scale of development that could be achieved, how various proposals would be considered against the South Worcestershire Development Plan, national guidance and supplementary documents.  The report included costs, such as financial contributions, and reports that would be required to accompany a planning application.
